Washington, D.C., February 20, 2026 - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto hosted the Presidential Forum on Strategic Capital & Partnership in Washington, D.C., convening senior leaders of leading U.S. investment institutions to advance strategic capital partnerships and deepen long-term investment collaboration with Indonesia, underscoring the country's commitment to maintaining a stable, credible, and investment-friendly environment as a foundation for sustained capital partnerships and economic growth.

Facilitated by Danantara Indonesia, the forum brought together C-level representatives from approximately twelve leading global investment institutions, collectively managing over $16 trillion of capital across asset classes including real estate, media and entertainment, energy, infrastructure, insurance, private equity, and digital infrastructure. Participating institutions included Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), KKR, General Atlantic, Warburg Pincus, Related Companies & Fund Management (RFM), Oaktree, Kayne Anderson, Eldridge Industries, and other prominent global private markets and real asset investors.

The session marked an important step in advancing Danantara Indonesia's global investment deployment strategy as part of its long-term portfolio development and institutional asset management approach.

Rosan Roeslani, Chief Executive Officer of Danantara Indonesia, emphasized that the forum reflects Indonesia's commitment to building long-term strategic partnerships with global institutional investors. "Indonesia is entering a critical phase of economic transformation that requires strategic partnerships, not just capital inflows. Through Danantara Indonesia, we are positioning Indonesia as a credible institutional partner, capable of co-investing, collaborating, and creating long-term value aligned with national development priorities," Rosan said.

He noted that Danantara Indonesia's investment deployment strategy includes strengthening global exposure through partnerships with leading fund managers to build a resilient, diversified portfolio aligned with Indonesia's economic transformation agenda. "This approach enables Indonesia to expand access to global investment networks, technology, and managerial expertise while ensuring that each allocation supports priority sectors, industrial development, and value creation at home," he added.

Pandu Sjahrir, Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia, emphasized the strategic investment rationale underpinning the engagement, noting that the partnerships with leading global fund managers form a core pillar of Danantara Indonesia's long term investment approach. "Deployment through global fund partnerships is a core pillar of Danantara Indonesia's long-term investment approach. We aim to build a world-class portfolio while enabling co-investment opportunities, knowledge transfer, and institutional capacity building," Pandu stated.

He added that the focus spans high-impact sectors including energy, infrastructure, real estate, insurance, private equity, media and entertainment, and digital infrastructure, areas with strong long-term growth potential and strategic relevance to Indonesia's economic transformation. This deployment reflects Danantara Indonesia's active asset allocation strategy to invest alongside leading global fund managers and platforms, including participation in investment vehicles and portfolio companies across these sectors as part of building a diversified, institutional-grade portfolio.

"Our objective is to deliver sustainable long-term returns while ensuring that Indonesia benefits from deeper integration into global investment ecosystems," he said. "By partnering with established platforms, we gain access to technology, sector expertise, and international networks that support both portfolio performance and long-term economic value creation."

The forum underscores Indonesia's commitment to a credible, transparent, and long-term investment ecosystem, while building enduring alliances with global institutional partners to support national economic transformation.
