PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM) Opens Registration for Verified Provider List (DPT) Prospective Partners for the Waste-To-Energy Facility Project (PSEL)

PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM) has opened registration for companies interested in becoming prospective investment partners in Indonesia’s Waste-to-Energy (WtE) infrastructure program.

The initiative aims to accelerate the implementation of sustainable urban waste management to relief the current waste situation in urban areas. As part of this effort, DIM is establishing a Verified Providers List (Daftar Penyedia Terverifikasi / DPT), which shall serve as a prequalified pool of companies eligible to participate in the development of Waste-to-Energy Facility Projects (Proyek Fasilitas Pengolahan Sampah menjadi Energi Listrik / PSEL) across Indonesia.

The program forms part of the government’s broader regulatory framework for waste management and infrastructure development under Presidential Regulation No. 109 of 2025, which governs specifically the processing of urban waste into energy through environmentally friendly technologies.

In carrying out the program, DIM invites both domestic and international companies with experience and competence in Waste-to-Energy development to participate in the verification process. This registration and verification process is a pre-requisite for invitation for subsequent participation in the Partner Selection process conducted by Danantara Indonesia for future WtE Projects.

Registration is open to business entities established in Indonesia or in countries that maintain diplomatic relations with Indonesia. Providers may apply either as a single entity and/or as a consortium. Companies previously selected and already included in the Verified Providers Lists are not required to re-register, unless they intend to apply as a consortium under the current process.

It shall be noted that to ensure transparency and governance, DIM has appointed a Registration and Verification Agent to support the implementation of this Registration & Verification process.

Interested companies shall write to registrationwte@danantaraindonesia.com using their official corporate email address to perform pre-registration requirements, including the signing Expression of Interests. Only parties that have completed submission of their expression of Interests will receive Instruction for Registration detailing all information to be submitted and verified.

All Expression of Interests shall have been received by 14th of April 2026 and will be processed on first come first serve basis. Danantara Indonesia reserves its rights to stop, extend, or re-start reception of Expression of Interests upon consideration of the market response.

Submission period for parties that has completed their Expression of Interests commences on 25 March 2026 at 07.00 AM GMT+7 until 25 April 2026 at 5.00 PM GMT +7

A technical discussion session (Aanwijzing) regarding the implementation of the Instruction of Registration and Verified Providers Lists will be conducted virtually through two sessions as follows:
