Danantara Indonesia Announces Selected Partners for Waste-to-Energy Plants in Bogor Raya

Jakarta, 13 March 2026 - Danantara Indonesia today announced the selected operating partners for its Waste-to-Energy (WtE) or Pengolahan Sampah menjadi Energi Listrik (PSEL) facilities in Bogor Raya.
Following a comprehensive and disciplined partner selection process that attracted experienced international companies and a rigorous evaluation, Danantara Indonesia has selected Zhejiang Weiming Environment Protection Co., Ltd. to operate the Bogor Raya plant.
Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 109/2025, this partnership selection for the Bogor Raya plant marks an important milestone in Danantara Indonesia's broader WtE program, which aims to address waste challenges by strengthening municipal waste management and reducing reliance on landfill disposal. Operating partners are required to form a consortium to ensure technology transfer and enhanced collaboration with local government and Indonesian companies.
Consistent with Danantara Indonesia's dual mandate, the Bogor Raya plant has been developed with a strong emphasis on operational reliability, environmental stewardship, and collaboration and technology transfer with local stakeholders. Danantara Indonesia continues to prioritize strong upstream governance, with implementation processes that are transparent and grounded in risk mitigation.
