Housing Development in Batang Anai Strengthens Commitment to Danantara Housing Development Program in Sumatra

PADANG PARIAMAN, January 22, 2026 - As part of efforts to support the recovery of communities affected by hydrometeorological disasters (in November 2025), the construction of Rumah Hunian Danantara in Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman Regency continues to be carried out to provide decent, safe, and immediately usable housing for residents.
The houses built in Batang Anai are among the hundreds of Ruham Hunian Danantara in West Sumatra Province, spread across four locations. The construction is part of a series of programs that are being implemented in stages, adjusting to field conditions and the needs of the affected communities.
The success of this development is also supported by close collaboration with the community and local government. Synergy in the field is key to ensuring that the program runs effectively, is on target, and has a broader impact on the communities in need.
On this occasion, we would like to express our appreciation to the community and the local government for their active participation, including their support in providing land and constructive cooperation, which has enabled the development to be carried out successfully.
The construction of Rumah Hunian Danantara in Batang Anai District was carried out through collaboration between state-owned enterprises, with PT Nindya Karya (Persero) acting as the contractor and construction coordinator, and financial support from PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero), and PT Pegadaian.

Managing Director of Stakeholder Management at Danantara Indonesia, Rohan Hafas, accompanied Deputy Chairman of Commission VI Andre Rosiade along with members Sarifah Suraidah, Nevi Zuairina, and Kawendra Lukistian on a working visit to Danantara's housing complex in Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman Regency. Andre Rosiade expressed his appreciation for Danantara Indonesia's swift response to the needs of communities affected by the disaster.

Managing Director of Stakeholder Management at Danantara Indonesia, Rohan Hafas, explained that overall, the construction of Rumah Hunian Danantara various disaster-affected areas has reached 1,275 units. The highest number of units has been built in Aceh, particularly in Aceh Tamiang, with hundreds of units built in one area. In addition, construction is also underway in eight other areas in Sumatra.

The construction of temporary shelters in Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman Regency, has reached 80% completion. These shelters are intended for victims of the November 2025 natural disasters so that they can immediately obtain proper and safe housing.
