Jakarta / London, 16 July 2026 — Danantara Indonesia's investment arm, Danantara Investment Management (DIM), announced that it has been admitted as an Associate Member of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), following the approval of its application by the IFSWF Board earlier this year.
DIM's admission marks an important milestone in the institution's commitment to international best practices in sovereign wealth fund governance, transparency, and responsible investment. As an Associate Member, DIM joins a global network of sovereign wealth funds that are committed to upholding the Santiago Principles — the 24 Generally Accepted Principles and Practices that serve as the internationally recognised standard for sovereign wealth fund governance, investment, and risk management.
Membership of the IFSWF enables DIM to engage in peer exchange with leading sovereign wealth funds worldwide, participate in the Forum's knowledge-sharing programmes, and further align its governance framework with global standards to ensure the highest level of transparency and accountability.
Pandu Sjahrir, Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia, said, "Joining the IFSWF reflects Danantara Indonesia's commitment to world-class governance, transparency, and accountability. As stewards of Indonesia's national assets, we are determined to build an institution that meets the highest international standards so that we can fulfill our mandate of investing for the Indonesian people."
Duncan Bonfield, Chief Executive of IFSWF said, "We are delighted to welcome Danantara Indonesia to the IFSWF. Since inception, Danantara Indonesia has demonstrated a deep commitment to good governance, professionalism and transparency and will be a valued member of our community."
Danantara Indonesia intends to use its Associate Membership as a foundation for deeper engagement with the Forum's global community of sovereign investors, including working towards alignment with the Santiago Principles self-assessment process, as part of efforts to strengthen its institutional governance.
